Welcome to Gapski ski instructor courses
Gapski is the most affordable and all inclusive ski instructor training course available.
The 10 week course runs during the winter season and is based in Tignes, France, part of one of the greatest ski areas on earth, l'Espace Killy.

Train for your BASI Level 1 and Level 2
By joining gapski you can set yourself on a new career path in the ski industry or simply have the experience of a life time while becoming a better skier and gaining a recognised qualification as a ski instructor.
Gapski and BASI
You will be trained through the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) exam system gaining a BASI Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications on successful completion of the course. BASI is the governing body responsible for the training and grading of British Instructors. A BASI Level 2 qualification allows you to teach in many places in the world, including the UK, most of Europe, New Zealand and the Americas. BASI qualifications are held in high international regard with the top levels equalling the French, Austrian and Italian Diploma’s.

What level of skier do I need to be?
Gapski requires you to be able to ski parallel confidently, coping with a variety of conditions, and have completed roughly 10 weeks skiing on snow, ski confidently on red runs in any conditions, being able to make rhythmical turns close to the fall line at a steady pace. Be confident to ski in control in off-piste conditions. If you are interested in joining the course you will be put in contact with one of our trainers. He will ensure that you are of the appropriate standard and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
